Who I am

You have two seconds to catch your audience.   Three at the most.  Otherwise they click away.    Who can  blame them?    For we are all drowning in an overload of information and messaging.

Clarity in your brand voice and message is what makes you stand out.  Clarity has the power to open up a patch of blue amid the grey that stretches from one horizon to the other.

Early years in the wild

I grew up in the New Forest, an area in the South of England with open heathland, wooded enclosures and wild ponies.   I played in the woods with my friends and rode my bike, but it was a solitary childhood.   I recorded my thoughts in a diary, and took my first pictures with a Brownie camera.  

My world in the forest was small.  I was eager to break free and head to the big city. 

A full spectrum of skills 

I went on to have a career bridging journalism,  brand communications, photography and videography.  I have worked in most markets in Europe as well as internationally, from North America to Asia.  

Growing my career horizontally has led me to be – quoting David Epstein in his NYT #1 bestselling book, Range: How Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World – “more creative, more agile, and able to make connections".  

My experience has given me a perfect mix of skills for our exponentially changing digital age where every second of attention counts.
